Of course Whiskey drinking is a viable career path. I've worked my way up to a very senior level in Sauvignon Blanc drinking. And some evenings and weekends (when there's time) I've got a part time job in vodka drinking.
You know Juz (though I hate to admit his genius ) has a point...the KWV guy at the distillery presumably doesn't only get paid in whiskey? (didn't they abolish the dop system...ps Juz did you picket that move?)
All in all though, I agree with your philosophy. Sometimes one finds that one is doing exactly what it is one loves to do. I've thought a lot about this question over my recent week of holiday (because I am about to sign on for a whole career path of advocacy)...and, when all is said and done, I love other things, writing poetry, fashion...but, I rather like the challenge of the way law makes one think...it's a pleasure to wade through the pile upon pile of applications on my desk (the same ones I am seeking so desperately to avoid by commenting on blogs)
hey thanks Gail. Northern Transvaal colours in Vodka. that's way impressive. i have a degree in Scotch, but i never played for my province. just not good enough i guess. must practice more.
